Carrie Hentges, Real Estate Paralegal

Carrie Hentges is a paralegal in the real estate practice group. Carrie assists with all aspects of the firm’s real estate law practice, including commercial and residential development projects, commercial, residential, and multi-family acquisition and sale transactions, and commercial loan and other real estate financing transactions. She assists with all aspects of a transaction, including the preparation of purchase agreements and other documents, due diligence review, the review, analysis and resolution of title and survey issues, and organizing and assisting with transaction closings. Carrie also has experience in the area of residential and commercial leasing, commercial evictions and related landlord/tenant remedies, statutory and judicial mortgage foreclosures, and receivership matters for distressed real estate.  She also coordinates the preparation of real estate conveyance documents and performs real property searches for several departments in the firm.

Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Carrie worked in the health care industry as a Health Information Services Manager and a Corporate Compliance/HIPAA Officer for two skilled nursing/assisted living facilities in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.

Carrie received her bachelor’s degree from the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota and earned her Paralegal Certificate from the Minnesota Paralegal Institute. She is a member of the Minnesota Paralegal Association.

In her spare time, Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons.
